Email setup at LST
As a user of the LST computer systems it is mandatory that you check your email at regular intervals. Your LST email address is your official contact email address.
Mail server
Our mail server provides access via IMAP/TLS, IMAPS, POP3/TLS, POP3S, SMTPS and SUBMISSION:
mail.lst.uni-saarland.de
We recommend using the Thunderbird mail reader with IMAP.
User name
Enter your username without the @lst.uni-saarland.de part.
DSL Anti Spam Feature
Some DSL routers (especially from German Telekom) have an anti spam feature which prevents sending emails from home. You may need to deactivate this setting or add our mail server as another exception.
