EACL conferences are a good opportunity for the EACL Board to meet in person. This is usually a lunch-time meeting, over, say, 2 hours, with lunch typically provided by the local organisers.
One room is required which can seat up to 10 people.
 
=== EACL Dinner ===

There is typically a special dinner held on one of the evenings of the conference --- similar to the ACL Exec dinner at ACL conferences --- to acknowledge and thank all the organisers for their services. Those present at the dinner include the EACL Chair and Chair-Elect, all the chairs of the conference (General Chair, Program Chairs, Workshop chairs,...), invited speakers, and so on. The Local Chair should arrange this dinner, in coordination with the EACL Chair and General Chair. The cost of the dinner should be included in the budget.
